Chart adjustment

In the theory of databases changeover of values of columns by lines and on the contrary is called as transposition. Necessity of transposition can be caused also erratic data input.

For a transposing of the data at all types of charts, except the dispersion chart (scatter), button Transpose (Transposition of lines/columns) () is used. As a result транспоэирования labels top line numeric data are moved to the left column (fig. 13.11).

The transposing of charts of dispersion (scatter) is fulfilled by means of button Switch XY (Switching of axes X/Y) ().

By default the width of a column is defined by possibility of layout of seven signs — seven-bit number. The width of a column can be changed manually, moving column boundary to the left or to the right, or by means of dialog box Cell Style (cell Parameters) (fig. 13.12) which is caused by click on button Cell Style (cell Parameters) () in the upper part of dialog box Graph Data (the Given charts).

In the field Column width (Column width) is entered an amount of signs (discharges) in a range from 0 to 20.
Nota Bene. It is necessary to consider that the value entered into this field, changes width (digit capacity) of a column in the table, and at all width of a graphic column in the chart.

In the field Number of decimals (Decimal signs) it is entered the amount of decimal discharges in a range from 0 to 10, is By default installed the value equal to 2nd discharges.

In this case the integer number, for example, "5", is displayed in shape "5.00". At input, for example, numbers "5.44892", it is displayed in shape "5.45". At the same time the reference value is saved in a database and at change of value of decimal discharges to 5 is displayed in shape "5.44892".

Parameters of charts

All types of charts, except for Area (the Additive schedule), have a dial-up of the parameters defining formation and display of charts.

For change of parameters of the existing chart (Selection) follows by means of tool Selection () to select all chart entirely, and then to click twice on the button of the tool groups Graph (Chart) in a palette of tools or to execute command Type (Type) of menu Object/Graphs (Object/chart). On the screen dialog box Graph Type (chart Type) (fig. 13.13) is deduced.
Rice 13.13. Dialog box Graph Type

In the upper part of a dialog box it is necessary to select variant Graph Options (chart Parameters) from the list.

Parameters of a column and group of columns

In group Options (Variants) of section Graph Options (chart Parameters) dialog box Graph Type (chart Type) are defined the relative sizes of gaps between columns and between groups of the columns concerning one category.

The values entered into fields of W Width ' (Band width) and Cluster Width (Width of a cluster), designate accordingly distance between columns and between groups of columns. At value of 100 % of a column and group of columns are allocated closely to each other. At values less than 100 % form gaps between columns and groups of columns, and more than 100 % of a column and group of columns superimpose each other. A range of these values - from 1 to 1000 %.

By default in the field Bar Width (Band width) is accepted value of 90 %, and in the field Cluster Width (Width of a cluster) — 80 %.

Group Options (Variants) is accessible to charts of following types:
Column (Vertical bands)
Stacked Column (the Vertical stack)
Bar (Horizontal bands)
Stacked Bar (the Horizontal stack)

Parameters of charts Line

At a choice in group Type (Type) of section Graph Options (chart Parameters) dialog box Graph Type (chart Type) line chart buttons (the fifth button at the left) group Options (Variants) appears in a type displayed on fig. 13.14. The Same parameters at charts of type Radar (Radar) (the last button).

Flags groups Options (Variants) provide following possibilities.
Flag Mark Data Points (to Select points) provides accentuation of significant points by means of small small squares.
Flag Connect Data Points (to Connect points) provides connection of significant points by lines that for the line chart it is represented rather essential.
Flag Edge-to-Edge lines (Lines on all width) provides width of axis Х precisely on length of lines of the schedule. If this flag is not installed, axis Х occupies an integer number of units.
Flag Draw Filled Lines (Lines with filling) becomes accessible and allows to appropriate the arbitrary thickness of the lines connecting significant points if flag Connect Data Points (to Connect points) is installed. Setting of flag Draw Filled Lines (with filling), in turn, does Lines accessible field Line Width (Thickness) in which a specific thickness of lines in a range from 0 to 100 points is defined.

Parameters of dot charts

Parameters of dot charts (the seventh button at the left) are identical to parameters of line charts with one exception: there is flag Edge-to-Edge Lines (Lines on all width) (fig. 13.15).
