The document of the program of adobe Illustrator can be exported to a format of program Photoshop (PSD) with saving of many parameters.
For document saving in format PSD command Export is used to (Export) menu File (File) which after assignment of a name of a file in the dialog box with the same name displays one more dialog box Photoshop Options (Parameters of file Photoshop) (fig. 14.22) in which document key parameters are defined.

Format TIFF (Tagged Image File Format) has been created as the general-purpose format for images with color channels (a file with tif extension). Important advantage of this format is its portability on different platforms (at saving it is possible to create the document accessible to reading on computers, IBM-compatible PC or Macintosh), it is imported in all programs of desktop publishing systems, it can be opened and with it to work practically in any program of a pointwise drawing.
This format has the broad range of transmission of colors: from monochrome to 24-bitovoj'modeli RGB (True Color) and 32-bit tsvetodelen th model CMYK.
Besides, the format can include and circuits of compression for file size reduction (at saving option LZW Compression (Multiplexing LZW) is accessible) that is important parameter for operation with полноцветными images of the big size.
Format TIFF has open architecture. It means that in a format possibility to declare in title the information on image type so and it will be possible to write down that now is yet known is provided. (As the music book "does not know" that on it will be written down.)
For example, in format TIFF the accompanying signatures which standard is developed by Association of Newspapers of America (NAA) and the International Council of Telecommunications of the Press (IPTC) for identification of transmittable texts and images can be saved.

In dialog box Export (Export) is offered a choice and other formats.
Format PCX developed by firm Z-Soft for program PC PaintBrush, is one of the most known, and almost any application working with a drawing, easily imports it. The format is quite good for shaped images and images with indexed colors as it is a little simplified in comparison with TIFF. It contains only one channel. There are also other lacks which hinder with usage of this format for professional operation with color.
Format BMP is intended for Windows (exists the variant for OS/2) and consequently it is supported by all applications working in this environment. It uses as much as possible only 24-bit representation of color, does not support channels. It is applied in the core to creation of tags and icons which are displayed in dialog boxes of applications. For professional operation with color it is a little suitable.
At export of the image to one of these formats on the screen dialog box Rasterize Options (rasterization Parameters) (fig. 14.25) from which it is possible to select normal parameters of the point image is in addition deduced.
