At image substantial growth there is a necessity of its relocation for access obtaining to the latent (not displayed) parts of the document. Following possibilities are for this purpose provided: traditional scroll bars for image relocation on a vertical or across, special tool Hand (Hand) and palette Navigator (Navigator). Use by these means does not represent special difficulties.

For a call of tool Hand (Hand) in an operating time with any other tool is enough to retain pushed a key<Пробел>.

After the program of adobe Photoshop developers placed in the program of adobe Illustrator palette Navigator (Navigator) which is very convenient means combining possibilities of tools Zoom (Scale) () and Hand (Hand) ().

Palette Navigator (Navigator) serves for fast relocation of the image increased in a working window, and for floppy change of the scale (fig. 3.8).

Palette Navigator (Navigator) is caused on the screen by command Show Navigator (to Show the navigator) menu Window (Window).

The window of review palettes Navigator (Navigator) always displays the image entirely, and the increased fragment which is visible in a working window, is selected by the color frame (by default — dark blue). How to change color of this frame, it is described more low.

For image relocation in a working window it is enough to place the cursor in limits of the color frame (the cursor (Hand) accepts the known form of tool Nand () to push the mouse button and to move the frame in the necessary attack.

If it is precisely known, what fragment is necessary for deducing in a working window, it is necessary the cursor in the form of a hand with a forefinger to place in fragment center in a window of review of a palette and to click the mouse button. It provides very fast method of relocation.

In the lower part palettes Navigator (Navigator) the control unit by scaling (fig. 3.8) is allocated. In the left part there is a numeral field absolutely identical to a field in a state band. Look the information on a state band in chapter 2.

In the right part of a control unit the band of adjustment of scale, engine relocation to the left is allocated (towards the button with small triangles) reduces the image, relocation to the right (towards the button with the big triangles) — increases it.

Clicks on buttons with triangles provide scaling with standard values. A scaling range — from 3,13 to 6400 %.

One more method of scaling is provided if to the user the fragment, worthy magnifications is precisely known. At a pushed key [Ctrl] (the cursor takes the form of tool Zoom (Scale) () in a window of review of its palette it is necessary to contour the square-topped frame.

To change color of the frame restricting a fragment of the image in a window of review palettes Navigator (Navigator), it is necessary to push, the button with a triangular arrow to the right of a palette title, opening that menu of commands of a palette. The choice of command Palette Options (palette Parameters) opens the dialog box with the same name (fig. 3.9).

In uncovered list Color (Colour) of group View Box (the review Frame) it is possible to select one of ready colors from this window:

At desire it is possible to select variant Custom (Custom) or to click on a color square, and then in dialog box Color (Colour) to define any arbitrary color.

In the field Greeking (Display by dies) is defined a font size below which text lines are displayed by gray dies.

Flag Draw dashed lines as solid lines (to Draw shaped lines cплошными) provides for simplification of display changeover shaped on the continuous.
