Styles as already it was mentioned above, are concrete sets of parameters of "exterior appearance", such as color, a transparency, decorative filling, effects and transformations.
It means that after application of the style, absolutely changing the exterior appearance of object, the document can be saved, and after its repeated discovery and removal of parameters of style the object again receives an initial type.
At usage of styles it is necessary to mean:
| Styles can be applied to separate object (point images, text units and vectorial objects here turn on), to group or a layer. To parts of text units (one or several characters) styles are not applied; |
![]() |
Nota Bene. It is necessary to mean that the point image should be allocated (embedded) in the document. |
| Each style can include any combination of parameters of color, filling, обводок, decorative filling, effects, superimposing modes (blend modes), graduated fills and transformations; |
![]() |
Nota Bene. And, it is necessary to pay special attention that each style can include some the same parameters, for example, fill colors, effects and transformations. At style there can be, for example, three filling, everyone with own color and own value of opacity. The same property is spread and on обводки. |
| Application of styles does not destroy source object. It means that objects, groups and layers by which styles are appropriated, are completely accessible to editing of all properties, but thus at any moment it is possible to change the initial form of objects; | |
| As styles any menu commands Effect (Effect) can be used. The identical or similar commands allocated in other menu items, are not saved in styles; | |
| If to change any parameter of object to which style there is a rupture of communication of the given object to this style is applied; | |
| Change of parameters of style conducts to change of parameters of all objects, groups and layers to which the given style is applied |
Assignment of styles to separate objects, groups or layers has following singularities.
| If style is applied to separate object new style replaces parameters of other style or "exterior appearance" which have been appropriated to object earlier. | |
| If style is applied to set of objects style parameters are appropriated to each object individually. | |
| If style is applied to group beforehand the group is necessary for making target (target) in palette Layers (Layers). In that case parameters of "exterior appearance" are appropriated to all group as a whole, т. E - to all separate objects entering into group. | |
| For example, the group includes two objects, each of them has own filling and has no обводок. If to group to apply the style providing обводку any color, such parameter a camp! Additional to already available. In this case both objects save the filling, but receive обводку identical color. To any other objects added in this group, it will be appropriated обводки the same color. | |
| Assignment of style to a layer is identical to operation with group. For example, style defines some level of opacity. When such style is appropriated to a layer all objects already allocated on the given layer and all again created or moved on given layer, acquire the same level of opacity. | |
| Style can be appropriated also to objects, groups or layers with usage palettes Layers (Layers) in which object, it is possible to make group or a layer target (target). In that case any object moved to group or on a layer, acquires those properties as though to it appropriated them individually. |
Usage of technology of styles allows to change an object type instantly. For control of styles special palette Styles (Styles) is provided (fig. 8.56) which allows to appropriate a name of set of parameters to save style and to apply it to object. Appropriating style to object, group or a layer, it is possible to change exterior appearance of object, without changing him.

As a result on the screen the additional palette (fig. 8.61) in which it is impossible to fulfill editing, adding and removal of styles is deduced.
It is possible to create own libraries, for this purpose it is necessary a normal file with demanded styles and a name convenient for use to save in a folder \Settings\Styte Libraries. After reboot of the program the name of this file appears in the list of libraries.
