Adding of empty pages

In program InDesign some methods of adding of pages in the document are provided. Elementary of them - the job of a certain amount of pages before document creation. Nevertheless sometimes it is required to add pages after operation over the document is already begun.

To add empty pages, it is necessary to open palette Pages (Pages).

Discovery of palette Pages

If palette Pages is hidden, execute commands Window-> Pages (the Window-> Pages) - fig. 10.1.

Or

If the palette is behind other palettes, click on its label.

The chess pattern on page in palette Pages means that to this page the special effect, for example a transparency, a shade, shading or a transparency of image Photoshop (fig. 10.2) have been applied.

Some pages can be added manually.

Adding of pages manually

1. To add one page, click by button New Page (to Create page) in palette Pages.

   Or

   Drag in a palette page-template or page without a template from area of operation with templates in area of operation with documents (fig. 10.3).

2. Repeat the previous step стольк time, how many it is necessary.
3. It is possible to add some pages automatically.

Automatic adding of page

1. Select option Insert Pages (to Interpose pages) from the menu of palette Pag (fig. 10.4). On the screen there will be dialog box Insert Pages (fig. 10.5).
2. Enter a demanded amount the country in the field Pages.
3. Select a place of an insertion of pages in and кумент from list Insert to (Interpose) fig. 10.6.
   • Before Page (Before page) before the given page;
   • After Page (After page) - after the given page;
   • At Start of Document (In the document beginning) - in the document beginning;
   • At End of Document (In the end of the document) - in the end of the document.
4. From menu Master (Page-shabls select a template for design of added pages.

   Or

   Use option None (Without a template) from menu Master. In this case new pages will be created without a template.

5. Push APPRX. New pages appears in palette Pages.
