Breadboard model adjustment

Undoubtedly, is final to group the document for once it is impossible. Fortunately, InDesign contains the powerful function of adjustment which are carrying out relocation and change of the size of objects according to change of a format of page or fields.

If function of adjustment of a breadboard model is selected, any conversions of a breadboard model cause change of position of elements of pages-templates and document pages.

Options of adjustment of a breadboard model

1. Execute commands Layout-> Layout Adjustment (the Breadboard model-> breadboard model Adjustment). There will be dialog box Layout Adjustment (fig. 10.24).

2. Install flag Enable Layout Adjustment (to Resolve breadboard model adjustment) to set conversion of elements as a result of change of a format of page, orientations, width of fields or columns (fig. 10.25).

3. Enter value in the field Snap Zone (binding Area) on purpose to define, how much close object should be allocated to guides of fields or columns or to a page corner, to consider its aligned on guides.

4. Install flag Allow Graphics and Groups to Resize (to Resolve change of the size of a drawing and groups) for change of the size of elements and their relocation during breadboard model adjustment.

5. Install flag Allow Ruler Guides to Move (to Resolve relocation of guides) to set relocation of guides in the course of breadboard model adjustment.

6. Install flag Ignore Ruler Guide Alignments (to Ignore alignment on guides) not to admit relocation of objects together with directing rulers.

7. Install flag Ignore Object ant Layer Locks (to Ignore fastening of elements and layers) to resolve relocation of the blocked objects or objects for the blocked layers.

8. Push ОК for implementation of adjustments. Now at change of parameters of the document or conversion fields in the document will be carried out according to new adjustments.
