Operation with layers As soon as you created additional layers in the document, can move objects on new layers. Creation of objects in layers Click on a layer in palette Layers to select it, and then create object. Instead of performance of commands of a cutting of object, a choice of a new layer and gluing in of object it is better to use palette Layers and to move object between layers. Relocation of objects from one layer in another 1. Select object. The small small square designating object, appears near to a layer title in palette Layers. 2. Drag this small square from one layer in another (fig. 11.12). The object appears on a new layer. Retain pushed key Opt/Alt at small square drag and drop to create an object copy on a new layer (fig. 11.13). Change of the order of layers Drag one layer upwards or downwards to change the order of appearance of objects in the document (fig. 11.14). You can unite contents of one layer with another. It is called as join of layers. Join of layers 1. Select layers which want to unite. 2. Select option Merge Layers (to Unite layers) from a submenu of palette Layers.
