Usage of styles of smoothing of a transparency

Styles of smoothing of a transparency allow to adjust handling of effects of a transparency, a shade and shading in the course of an output of the document to the press. Three styles set by default, it is impossible to edit, but you can create own style of smoothing.

Creation of style of smoothing of a transparency

1. Execute commands Edit-> Transparency Flattener Styles (Editing-> Styles of a rounded transparency). On the screen there will be dialog box Transparency Flattener Styles (fig. 17.31).

2. Click by button New (New). On the screen there will be dialog box Transparency Flattener Style (Style of a rounded transparency) - fig. 17.32.

3. Appropriate to style a title in the field Name (Name).

4. Move бегунок Raster/Vector Balance (Balance a raster/vector) in section Options (Adjustment) to create either vectorial, or the bitmap image (fig. 17.33).

5. Set value of resolution of the press for bitmap images in the field Flattener Resolution (smoothing Resolution).

In most cases there will be enough resolution of 300 dots per inch.

6. Set value of resolution of the press for graded-index objects in the field Gradient Resolution (gradient Resolution). In most cases there will be enough resolution of 150 dots per inch.

7. Install flag Force Text to Outlines (the Text - in circuits) to transform the text to circuits.

If the flag is not installed, the transparent segments of the text which become thickness of the remaining text will be transformed to circuits only. The given option allows to install an identical thickness of all text.

8. In case in your document there are the lines intersecting areas with effect of a transparency, install flag Convert Strokes to Outlines (Lines - in circuits) to transform all lines to circuits.

9. Install flag Clip Complex Regions (Obtravka of difficult places) that any boundaries between raster and vectorial objects always had on existing circuits.

As a result can appear difficult обтравочные circuits which will not be deduced on some devices.

Editing of style of smoothing of a transparency

1. Select style which want to edit. Three styles set by default which titles are bracketed, it is impossible to edit (fig. 17.34).

2. Click by button Edit to (Edit).

3. Edit style in dialog box Transparency Flattener Style (Style of a rounded transparency).

Field Style Settings (style Adjustment) displays parameters of each style (fig. 17.35).

Removal of style of smoothing of a transparency

1. Select style which want to delete.

Three styles set by default which titles are bracketed, it is impossible to delete (fig. 17.34).

For a choice of the several styles allocated successively use SHIFT key. For a choice of the several styles allocated separately, use key Cmd/Ctrl.

2. Click by button Delete to (Delete).

It is possible to organize joint access to styles. Saving style, it can be loaded on other machines.

Saving of style of smoothing of a transparency

1. Select style which want to save.

For a choice of the several styles allocated successively use SHIFT key. For a choice of the several styles allocated separately, use key Cmd/Ctrl.

2. Click by button Save to (Save).

3. Appropriate to a file a name.

Loading of style of smoothing of a transparency

1. Click by button Load to (Load).

2. Select a file which contains styles.

3. Click by button Open to (Open). Styles appear in dialog box Transparency Flattener Style.
