The program saves in the menu of 10 last files opened in program InDesign Document closing Execute commands File-> Close (the File-> to Close). Or Click on an icon to Close document windows. Discovery of files QuarkXPress or PageMaker Program InDesign gives the chance to convert documents and templates QuarkXPress 3.3 and Adobe PageMaker of 6.5 or later versions. Simply execute commands File "Ф Open and select a file. The program converts a file of the named packets of imposition in new document InDesign. In what advantage of conversion? It perfectly approaches for the templates consisting of a breadboard model without the text. All templates are converted together with directories of styles (see chapter 14) and colors (see chapter 5). It gives the chance to use old templates for creation of new operations in InDesign. The images pasted, but not placed in publications QuarkXPress or PageMaker, do not participate in conversion. Conversion can change documents with a text considerable quantity. For example, InDesign allocates the text, using for these purposes the difficult mechanism of configuration (see chapter 15). That is in document InDesign the text can be moved for other lines. If it is necessary to import some insignificant changes to an ancient document, open a file in packet QuarkXPress or PageMaker and fulfill all necessary operations. When it is necessary to alter completely the document, I advise to export the text from a file, and then to convert a publication template in file InDesign. After that you can use a template for all new documents. |
