Color superimposing

Superimposing - a technique, allowing to install color of object as a compound with any colors which are under it. For example, without superimposing the yellow object placed on a dark blue background, will be printed as yellow. But with switched on superimposing the yellow object mixes up with a dark blue background and it turns out green.

Setting of a background or line with color superimposing

  1. Select object.
  2. If palette Attributes is invisible, execute commands Window-> Attributes (the Window-> Attributes) that it to open (fig. 5.32).

    Or

    If palette Attributes is behind other palettes, click on its label.

  3. Include option Overprint Fill (Nalo жение colors) to set a background object that with color superimposing.
  4. Include option Overprint Stroke (Ha-l ложение lines) to receive planimetric lines of object with наложениел colors.

Select option Nonprinting (Nepechatae мый) in palette Attributes not to print object. It needs to be made in that слу tea when you want to add a comment рии which will not be printed.

In earlier programs to see фект superimposing it was possible after вь полнения color separations and m coloring tests териала on the special printer. Program InDesign allows to simulate and look at superimposing on the screen.

Review of superimposing of color

Execute commands View-> Overprint Preview (the Type-> superimposing Print preview). Program InDesign shows, how colors with superimposing look.
